Who has never had stiffnesses ? Everybody has had them and we know that they appeare when we are traininig a lot of time or when we take up again our phisycal training after a long period of time, but it is not clear what produces them and what they are.
Stiffnesses would be the tearing of small fibres after the physical training. It is not considered an injury because these small tearings are regenerated very quickly, but for some unconfortable feeeling, they are not a problem to carry on training.
They are very easy to feel, so when moving or touching the affected area, some muscular pain and stiffness are felt.
It is very common that they appeare a day after the training, but it is also normal that they are after just an hour, when we are still relaxed. They can be long some days and in some cases we can suffer them even more than a week !
