The test of launching of medicinal ball (I): Importance of the launchings

The launchings represent a branch of very interesting exercises to develop the explosive force and the coordination of movements.

If we go back in the old history, we find them inside the military training, since the old towns used the lances for the combat.

In the olympic  games of old Greece they figure certain launching specialties inside their olympic calendar, and at the present time, the athletics grants to this type of tests a great importance with four types of launchings:  weight, disk, javelin and hammer.

In education, the launchings are considered some very important exercises for the development motor of the children, for their utility for the development of the boy’s general coordination and of their explosive force, for their great dynamism and for not stimulating the muscular development, and they are introduced by means of games and sports.

For the valuation of the physical condition it is frequently used the test of launching of medicinal ball, to measure the explosive force of the superior train. It is even included in the physical tests of certain type of concurses, as those of police, to determine the level of the applicants’ explosivity.

In this context, the precise launching of medicinal ball needs a technique model  that to try to come closer, so that the applicant can reach the maximum yield, in the same way that it has been made with the other launching types.

In the next chapters, we will try to expose the elements that can benefit in the practice of this type of launchings, so that the sportsman gets a technique that is him of utility.

The rise of loads (III): Basic considerations for any rise 2

If we excessively forced this flexion from the lumbar zone, there is a tendency of intervertebral discs to move backwards, when inclining the vertebrae forwards.

When straightening  us, as we do not have the aligned good column, the discs are outside site and can be tweaked when we put right, which can produce an injury at lumbar level.

On the possible injuries derived from an poor implementation in the rises we will speak with depth in another chapter.

The important thing now is that we understand that the movement in itself can injure us, independent of the weight that we rise. It is more, normally the injuries appear at moments of distraction, with insignificant weights.

If the back already is damaged, by muscular imbalances (among them the lack of flexibility), this movement can produce an injury.

If we remembered crouch  instead of to incline, we will bend  the knees to lower to the ground level, and this will allow to maintain the straight back without altering the position of our intervertebral discs.

This simple gesture goes to extend the life of the column, because it is going to avoid the exhibition to a movement that can injure  us.

Think about the amount of times that you can be bent to take something of the ground throughout the week and will understand that I am speaking to you.

The dietary fiber (II): Influence in the elimination of wastes

The body needs the fiber for the elimination of wastes. The fiber absorbs and retains liquid in more quantities to its own weight and this help to maintain the fecal loose matter, with less consistency.
The bigger it is the particle, the more capacity it has to retain water.

When increasing the volume of the wastes in the large intestine, they improve the peristaltism (movements that displace the foods for the bowels) and it hurries the step of the foods in the alimentary canal, what improves the elimination of solid wastes.

A correct operation impedes the constipation and it prevents the illnesses of the large intestine and of the rectum.

On one hand the diverticulosis that is characterized by the formation of small bags in the walls of the colon, when having to make muscular big efforts to expel the feces.

This problem is very bound to the constipation and it carries a weakness of the wall of the colon. The fiber intake prevents its appearance when softening and to favor the elimination.

Also the constipation when forcing the step of the feces, it can compress the hemorrhoidal veins, and to influence in their inflammation, giving cause to a problem of hemorrhoids that is one of the most annoying and painful ailments in this area.

On the other hand, it is impacted in the prevention of the colon cancer. The increase of volume allows to dilute the cancerigenic particles that could attack the walls of the cells.

On the other hand, to the circular one the quickest foods decrease the time of exhibition from these particles to the cells.
